Description Desirable Johnson model 1941 semi auto rifle chambered in .30-06. This example, with serial number 5472, features a 22″ barrel with fixed front battle sight and a transplanted M1 Carbine rear sight, Cranston Arms marked receiver, and smooth hardwood stock and forearm. The barrel is a modified M1 Garand barrel which is a somewhat common replacement due to the scarcity of spare parts, with proper Johnson front sight, guide collar, locking bushing, but absent is the bayonet lug. The stocks appear to be Winfield furniture. Winfield had purchased the inventory from Johnson and converted many of these rifles to sporting rifles after WWII had ended. This ships to FFL/C&R only. Condition: Overall Very Good with scattered and light marks from handling and use, a scattering of light surface corrosion on the barrel shroud, and a clean, rifled bore. The action appears to function as expected. Barrel Length: 22″ Serial: 5472 Manufacturer: Cranston Arms Year: 1941 Caliber: .30-06 Model: 1941
