Description Colt 1917 D.A.45 chambered in .45 ACP with a six-shot cylinder and a 5.5″ barrel. Manufactured in 1918 with serial number 161165. Blued finish with smooth wood grips and lanyard loop. Pachmayr polymer grip adapter. Textured hammer, ejector rod, and cylinder release. Fixed front blade. Must ship to FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Fair with heavy metal oxidation and finish loss/patina throughout. The action either needs to be cleaned or needs a gunsmith because the cylinder release is stiff and requires extra force to open. The trigger and hammer appear to work and still rotates the cylinder. Some scratches and contact marks on the grips. The Pachmayr grip adapter forces the bottom of the grips to float off of the frame. Clean rifled bore. SOLD AS-IS.
