Description Colt New Service Revolver chambered in .455 Ely/Webley with a six-shot cylinder and a 5.5″ barrel. Manufactured in 1915 with serial number 90111. Shows both standard Colt factory proof marks and British proof marks. Colt address on the top of the barrel and the left side of the barrel is marked “NEW SERVICE 455 ELEY”. Rampant Colt mark on the left side of the frame. Glossy blued barrel, frame cylinder, cylinder release, double action trigger and hammer. Checkered black polymer Colt grips. Grip mounted lanyard loop. Rear notch and fixed front blade iron sights. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Very good with light scratches, contact marks, and general cosmetic handling wear. Some finish wear around the muzzle. Some finish thinning and patina on the contact points such as the front/backstrap and trigger guard. Some metal oxidation on the bottom of the grip and lanyard loop. Light thin cylinder turn line and light operational wear. Bright and clean bore with strong rifling.
