Description CAI Imported Remington manufactured 1914 Pattern Enfield Drill Purpose rifle, originally chambered in .30-06 with a 5 round integral magazine and a 26.5″ barrel. The breach was drilled through with a steel rod welded in. Receiver is marked, ERA 569144 with a “DP” Drill Purpose scribed above. Red and white painted band around magazine well. Bolt, front barrel band, stock, and trigger guard also marked “DP”. “BF” and 174 painted on rear of stock. Non-functioning firing pin. Can ship directly to customers home. Condition: Good, with some operational and handling wear. Modifications to firing group and barrel. Hardwood stock with some modifications but without any serious damage. Some finish wear and patina on majority of steel parts. No rust but some oxidization on underside of trigger guard. Pitted barrel with slight rifling.
