Description Pre 64 Winchester 1894 chambered in .38-55 Winchester with a half-tube magazine and a 26″ half octagonal barrel. Manufactured in 1899 with serial number 156866. Adjustable rear buckhorn sight and fixed front blade. Patinated blued finish with smooth wood forend and straight grip stock with crescent metal butt plate. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Fair/Good with heavy patina and varying spots of metal oxidation throughout the finish. Original blued finish on the rifle. Scratches, high edge wear, metal contact marks, and general handling wear. Light wear on the internal/moving parts from operation. The wood was sanded and refinished at some point. Scratches and dings on the wood. The right side of the forend is missing small piece. Some spots of metal oxidation and pitting in the bore. The rifling is visible and strong. The action is smooth.
