Description Excellent Example of a U.S. Winchester American Enfield Model 1917 in .30-06 Springfield with a six round capacity and a 26″ barrel. Smooth metal butt pad. Smooth wood stock and front foregrip. Blued, guard, serrated trigger, magazine floor plate, receiver, bolt and barrel. Rear right side of receiver serrated safety switch. Rear left side of receiver bolt release. Under barrel fixed bayonet lug. Rear adjustable and front fixed blade sight. Metal loops for mounting a shoulder sling. Marked on the left side of stock: S S.A.A. Underside of stock marked: P. The top of the muzzle is marked: J A with a Flaming Bomb proof. Comes with a Remington bayonet, leather scabbard and leather shoulder sling marked Japan. The bayonet is marked 1913 5 17 Remington B 3 A 1A with a small crown proof. The bolt is marked with: 48 M NS. Must ship to a C&R or FFL holder.
Condition: Good/Very good with metal oxidation on the butt plate, wood dings and handing wear. The bayonet scabbard has been refinished. The rifled bore has a light grain to it.
