Fifth variation of the well noted Springfield Trapdoor rifle. This model sports a 32.5″ barrel. Equipped with cleaning rod and a reproduction sling. Missing the front sight however the rear sight is intact and functioning. Stock is complete with some cracking around the lock. Butt plate is the type with cleaning compartment but the rifle has no cleaning compartment in rear. Antique, No FFL required
Condition: Antique Good. Barrel is original blue with a peppering of fine rust. Lock is whole and original. Trapdoor may have been blued. Wood is cracked but stabilized. Butt plate is not original to gun. Bore is mirror bright and rifling sharp.
