2nd Series Dating to 1949 and the second year of production for this model we have a Colt PT.F.A MFG. CO. Woodsman Second Series Match Target chambered in .22LR. This example is marked with a two-line address and patent information on the left side of the heavy 6-3/4″ target barrel, Rampant Colt over “MATCH TARGET” on the left side of the frame and serial number 9287-S on the right side. This features ramped front and adjustable rear target sights, serrated trigger and grip straps and fitted with checkered plastic grips and matching backstrap. MUST SHIP TO FFL.
Condition: Some light finish loss on the high points of the muzzle along with some scattered very light pitting on the frame and muzzle end. The action is crisp and the bore is bright with sharp rifling.
