The barrel is also dated 1943 and marked “R A”, (Flaming Bomb Proof), “9-43”. Front bayonet lug. Adjustable rear sight and fixed front blade. Rear flag style safety lever. Receiver mounted magazine cut off. Parkerized finish with smooth wood forends and scant grip stock with metal trap door butt plate. Mounted leather sling. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Good/Very good with light scratches, high edge wear, and general cosmetic handling wear. Light wear on the internal/operational parts from normal operation. Varying patina and discoloration on most of the finish. Metal contact marks on the trigger guard and magazine floor plate. Some light spots of metal oxidation. The stock was likely sanded and refinished at some point. Light scratches and dings in the wood. Bright and clean bore with strong visible rifling.
