Description Winchester Model 1886 Take-Down in .45-70 Government with a nine round capacity and a 26″ round barrel. Made in New Haven Connecticut in 1900. Checkered composite butt plate. Checkered wood stock and front forend. Finish worn blued hand lever, trigger, receiver, hammer, magazine tube and barrel. Take-Down lever on the front underside of magazine tube. Rear flip up adjustable and front fixed blade sight. Must ship to a C&R or FFL holder. Condition: Fair with scratches, wood dings, finish wear/loss, loading gate pushes forward of the receiver and spots of rust/pitting. The rifled bore has light rust/pitting.
