Description U.S. Remington Model 1903 Springfield in .30-06 with a five round capacity and a 24″ barrel. Made by Remington Arms Company in July of 1943. Blued metal butt plate with cleaning rod door, empty. Smooth wood stock and front forend with finger groove. Parkerized trigger, trigger guard, receiver, bolt and barrel. Rear bolt safety switch. Left side of receiver bolt release switch. Under barrel fixed bayonet lug. Metal loops for mounting a shoulder sling. Barrel at muzzle marked: S.A. 8-44. Must ship to a C&R or FFL holder. Condition: Fair with scratches, spots of light rust, wood dings, missing the barrel band and refinished wood. Top of receiver has old glue affixed, needs good cleaning.
