Description Colt Single Action Army Bisley chambered in .45 Colt with a six-shot cylinder and a 4 3/4″ barrel. Manufactured in 1905 with serial number 272083. Patinated blued finish with checkered polymer Colt grips. Bisley style grip and hammer spur. Rear notch and fixed front blade iron sights. Serial number matching frame, trigger guard, and grip frame. The left side of the frame is marked with the patent date and Rampant Colt. The left side of the trigger guard is marked with a Colt “VP” Verified Proof. The marking on the top of the barrel is mostly faded. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Overall good given the age. Most of the finish is in the white with spots of brown patina throughout. Spots and speckling of metal oxidation throughout. Cylinder turn line and normal wear from operation. The checkering is pretty strong given the age. Some wear on the checkering and edges of the grips. Decently bright bore with good visible rifling, does show spots of rust throughout.
