Description Colt 1849 Pocket chambered in .31 Caliber with a five-shot cylinder and a 5″ octagonal barrel. Manufactured in 1864 with serial number 250857. Blued barrel, engraved cylinder, single action trigger, and hammer. The cylinder shows Stagecoach scenes. Case colored rod and frame. Brass trigger guard and grip frame. Smooth wood grips. Rear hammer notch and front bead iron sights. Serial number matching barrel, frame, cylinder, trigger guard, and grip frame. The top of the barrel is marked “ADDRESS SAM L COLT NEW YORK CITY”. COLTS PATENT is marked on the frame and cylinder. Antique, ships directly to buyers home in MOST states. Condition: Antique Poor mainly due to the revolver being non functioning. The cylinder does not correctly spin when the hammer is cocked, and the hammer does not always lock back without manual pushing the trigger forward. Scratches, sharp edge wear, and general cosmetic handling wear. Most of the finish has finish patina, thinning, and loss from age. Spots of metal oxidation and pitting throughout. Spots of tarnish and finish loss on the brass. Some light scratches and dings on the grips. The barrel wedge is loose. Rusty bore with good visible rifling. SOLD AS-IS.
