Description Springfield Armory 1898 Krag chambered in .30-40 Krag with a five round internal magazine capacity and a 30″ barrel. Manufactured in 1903 with serial number 423502. Nickel finished barrel, bands, receiver, bolt, magazine, trigger, and trigger guard. Rear flag style safety. Adjustable rear sight and fixed front blade. Smooth wood top forend and straight grip stock with nickel butt plate. Front and rear sling swivels with mounted leather sling. Comes with an M1892 with blued metal scabbard. The right side of the ricasso is marked “US” and the left side is marked “1900”. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Good with scratches, sharp edge wear, contact marks, and general cosmetic handling wear. Spots and speckling of patina and metal oxidation. Tarnish and crackling on the finish. Some scratches and dings on the wood. Bright and clean bore with strong visible rifling. Spots of metal oxidation and patina on the bayonet and scabbard.
