Description Mitchells Mausers Yugoslavian M48 in 8mm with a five round capacity and a 23.5″ barrel. Made in Yugoslavia in 1944 then taken and refinished by Mitchells Mausers in the USA. Import marked on the side of barrel by GPC W. Hurley N.Y. ( Gun Parts Corp ). Metal butt plate. Smooth wood stock and front forend. Blued trigger guard, trigger, receiver and barrel. Unfinished steel bolt. Rear bolt safety. Rear left side of receiver bolt release. Underside of barrel at the muzzle end located fixed bayonet lug and removable cleaning rod. Rear flip up adjustable and front hooded fixed blade sight. Metal loop and stock slot for mounting a shoulder sling. Matching serial number on the receiver, wood stock and magazine floor plate. Mismatched serial number on bolt to receiver. Must ship to a C&R or FFL holder. Condition: Good with wood dings, scratches and handling wear. Light cosmoline seeping out of the wood stock.
