Smooth wood stock and Schnabel style front forend. Blued trigger, engraved receiver and barrel. Case colored hand lever. Rear adjustable and front flip up sight. Rear receiver tang mounted adjustable flip up peep hole sight. Savage Model 1899 Take-Down in .303 Savage with a five round capacity and a 20″ barrel. Serrated metal butt plate. Smooth wood stock and Schnabel style front forend. Blued serrated trigger, receiver and barrel. Case colored hand lever. Rear adjustable and front fixed blade sight. Top of receiver is drilled and tapped for optics. Must ship to a C&R or FFL holder. Condition: Poor with scratches, rust, finish wear/loss, wood dings, wood damage and repairs to the octagon barrel 1899 at the wrist. The Octagon barrel has a problem with the action and needs gunsmith. The Take-Down rifle has a clean rifled bore and the Octagon barrel has very light touch of rust to the rifled grooves. SOLD AS-IS.
