Description Colt 1849 Pocket chambered in .31 Caliber with a five-shot cylinder and a 4″ octagonal barrel. Manufactured in 1858 with serial number 149465. Blued barrel, engraved cylinder, single action trigger, and hammer. The cylinder shows Stagecoach scenes. Case colored rod and frame. Brass trigger guard and grip frame. Smooth wood grips. Rear hammer notch and front bead iron sights. Serial number matching barrel, frame, cylinder, trigger guard, and grip frame. The top of the barrel is marked “ADDRESS SAM L COLT NEW YORK CITY”. COLTS PATENT is marked on the frame and cylinder. Antique, ships directly to buyers home in MOST states. Condition: Antique Good/Very good with scratches, sharp edge wear, and general cosmetic handling wear. Most of the finish has finish patina, thinning, and loss from age. Some of the bluing and case coloring is still visible. Light spots of metal oxidation and pitting. Spots of tarnish and finish loss on the brass. Some light scratches and dings on the grips. Small chip on the edge of the left grip. Bright bore with strong rifling, has some light spots of metal oxidation.
