Description This lot is for two French St Etienne MLE M16 Carbines chambered in 8x50mmR (8mm Lebel). One has a a 22″ barrel with a full length forend. Appears to be marked “T.C. ORMAN 1948”. The second rifle has a 18.5″ barrel. Marked MA C 1935. Imported by Century Arms, marked on the receiver. Both have adjustable rear sight and fixed front blades. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: POOR Gunsmith Special, see photos. Both show heavy metal oxidation, pitting, and patina. Scratches, contact marks, and handling wear. Missing parts. Scratches, scuffs, and dings on the wood. Wood repairs and fills. Some thin cracks and chips in the wood. Rough sticky actions. Both bores are dark with rust, but the rifling is strong.
