Description Finnish Capture New England Westinghouse Company Model 1891 ( American Mosin Nagant ) chambered in 7.62x54mmR with a five round internal magazine capacity and a 31.5″ barrel. Manufactured in 1915 and import marked: CAI. ST. ALB. VT. on the front side of the barrel. Blued butt plate, trigger guard, hexagon receiver and barrel. Unfinished bolt with twist knob bolt safety. Adjustable rear ladder sight and fixed front blade. Smooth wood forend with finger splice and straight stock. Under barrel removable cleaning rod. Originally manufactured in Massachusetts by New England Westinghouse Company for Russia during World War 1 and at some point captured by Finland, with [SA] property stamp on the barrel shank. Russian Imperial Eagle Proof on the top of barrel shank. Serial number matching on the bolt and top of barrel shank. Metal loops for mounting a shoulder sling. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Good with scratches, heavier wood dings, light spots of finish wear/loss and touches of rust. Clean rifled bore.
