Description Carl Gustaf Stads M1896 chambered in 6.5x55mm Mauser with a five round integral magazine and a 29.1″ barrel. Manufactured in 1915 and imported by Century Arms, marked on the barrel. Blued barrel, bands, receiver, magazine, trigger, and trigger guard. Unfinished bolt with straight handle and flag style safety. Adjustable rear ladder sight and fixed front blade. Smooth wood forend and straight grip stock with disc and metal butt plate. Front and rear sling swivels. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: God with scratches, sharp edge wear, and general cosmetic handling wear. Spots of finish thinning and patina. Some spots of metal oxidation. The stock appears to have been sanded and refinished at some point. Scratches, scuffs, and dings in the wood. The butt plate is mostly in the white with contact marks.
