Description Carl Gustaf Stads M1896 chambered in 6.5x55mm Mauser with a five round integral magazine and a 29.1″ barrel. Manufactured in 1911 and imported by Century Arms, marked on the barrel. Blued barrel, bands, receiver, magazine, trigger, and trigger guard. Unfinished bolt with straight handle and flag style safety. Hooded front blade sight. The rear tangent sight has been removed and an adjustable diopter has been installed on the rear of the receiver. The sight is marked “Traffb. At H<->V”. Smooth wood forend and straight grip stock with disk and metal butt plate. Front and rear sling swivels. The receiver, bolt, and butt plate are matching. The floor plate and barrel bands are mismatched. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Good/Very good with light scratches, contact marks, and handling wear. Normal internal wear from operation. Some spots of metal oxidation. The stock has been sanded and refinished. Light scratches and dings on the stock. Contact marks and wear on the butt plate.
