Description BSA Shirley No. 4 MK I Enfield chambered in .303 British with a ten round removable magazine and a 25.2″ barrel. Manufactured in 1942 and imported by CDI SWAN VT, marked on the barrel. Front bayonet lug. Parkerized finish with smooth wood forends and stock with blued metal butt plate. Adjustable rear sight and protected front blade. Rear receiver mounted safety lever. Serrated magazine release. Front and rear sling swivels with mounted canvass sling. Serial number matching receiver and bolt. Comes with a No9 MK1 bayonet marked D-53. Comes with its scabbard serial number matching to the bayonet 329443. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Good with the metal being re-parkerized with visible buffing marks under the finish, and the wood having been sanded and refinished had some point. Scratches, sharp edge wear, contact marks, and general cosmetic handling wear. Normal internal wear from operation. Some spots of metal oxidation on the barrel bands and receiver. Some spots of finish thinning/patina. Scratches, scuffs, and dings on the wood. Bright bore with strong rifling, has some frosting of metal oxidation. The bayonet and scabbard have scratches, scuffs, patina, and general handling and storage wear.
