This is a Rare Finish Valmet M78, heavy-barreled light support variant of the Valmet M76 assault rifle. This is a gas operated and semi-automatic version produced and offered in limited quantities for the civilian market. This rifle chambered in .308 with dark parkerized finish features a heavy 24″ barrel with three prong flash hider and integral wire cutter and bayonet lug, nicely finished hardwood stocks, an RPK-style buttstock, bipod and carry handle.
