Description Colt Super 38 Converted to .38 Special wadcutter with one, Colt .38 Special magazine and a 5″ barrel. Manufactured in 1951 with serial number 90780. Blued steel frame with checkered wood grips and custom stippled front strap and mainspring housing. Single action trigger and hammer. Frame mounted manual thumb safety and beavertail grip safety. Blued serrated slide with aftermarket adjustable rear sight and extended front blade sight. The left side of the slide is marked “COLT SUPER .38 AUTOMATIC” with rampant colt logo. The marking on the barrel is ground off. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Very Good with some scratches, sharp edge wear, and general cosmetic handling wear. Normal internal wear from operation and firing. Wear on the finish from disassembly. Scratches and wear on the grips. Bright and clean bore with strong rifling.
