Description MA Lithgow SMLE II Lee Enfield chambered in .303 British with a ten round removable magazine and a 25″ barrel. Manufactured in England and imported by NA Co Ridgefield NJ, marked on the side of the receiver. Parkerized barrel, end cap, receiver, bolt, trigger, and trigger guard. Adjustable rear ladder sight and protected front sight. Receiver mounted safety lever and trigger guard paddle magazine release. Smooth wood top forend and wood stock with brass butt plate. Front and rear sling swivels. The right side of the grip ring is stamped “M A LITHGOW S.M.L.E. III 1941”. The right side of the stock is marked with an assortment of markings as follows “M.A. LITHGOW S.M.L.E.”, “III*”, “HV”, “1942”, “R M.A.O.”, “7/45”. The left side of the stock is painted “169”. Serial number matching receiver and bolt. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Good with some scratches, contact marks, and handling wear. Finish darkening and patina. Internal wear from operation. Scratches, scuffs, and dings in the wood. Missing chip of wood on the left side of the top handguard.
