Shipped Jan. 2, 1945, part of a 5000 pistol order to Transportation Officer at Benicia Ordnance Depot, Army Point, Calif. Parkerized steel frame with lanyard loop and eight ribbed mainspring housing. Serrated thumb safety and hammer spur. Smooth grip safety. The right side of the frame is marked “UNITED STATES PROPERTY” No 2121312″, “M 1911 A1 U S.ARMY”. Faint Springfield Armory Cross Cannons proof on the rear of the frame. The right side of the trigger guard is marked with a “7”. The left side of the frame is marked with “FJA” Frank J. Atwood inspection proof. Factory proof mark symbol on the left side of the trigger guard. “P” Proof mark on the left side of the frame, right side of the barrel lug, and top of the slide forward of the rear sight. US&S plastic stocks made by Key-es Fibre Co. Parkerized serrated slide with hardened front end. Fixed iron sights. The left side of the slide is marked “ITHACA GUN CO. INC. ITHACA. N.Y.”. Blued High Standard barrel with “HS” on the right side of the barrel lug. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Very good/Excellent with light scratches and normal cosmetic handling wear. Some patina on some of the small parts. Light wear on the moving/internal parts from operation.
