Description Smith & Wesson Model 2 in .32 Rimfire Long with a six round capacity and a 6″ octagon barrel. Made in Springfield Massachusetts between 1861-1874. Smooth wood grip plates. Finish worn trigger, frame, hammer, cylinder and barrel. Under barrel tip up lever. Rear notch and front fixed brass blade sight. Serial number 19745 on bottom of frame and right side underside of grip plate. Faint number 001 on the frame under the grip and the face of barrel at the chamber. The hammer has been aftermarket modified. The tip up barrel has a metal pin affixing it to frame replacing the factory screw. Antique, No FFL required and ships to MOST buyers homes. Condition: Antique, Good with small chips to the wood grips, finish wear/loss, modified hammer, replaced barrel screw and rust. The rifled bore has spots of rust and pitting.
