Description CMP Field Grade Springfield Armory M1 Garand chambered in .30-06 with a eight round internal en-bloc clip (not included) fed magazine and a 24″ barrel. The receiver is dated to 1942 with serial number 878056. Springfield Armory barrel dated to 1944 marked “3-s-a-6 44”. Parkerized finish with wood stock and top handguard. The receiver underneath the stock is marked “R E P 1 8 A W”, “D 28291-15”, “SA”. Springfield Armory operating rod marked “D35382 SA”. SA bolt marked “6528287-SA 7-4-B”. Harrington & Richardson trigger group marked “6528290 -HRA N”. Adjustable rear sight and protected front blade. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Fair/Good with scratches, contact marks, and general handling wear. Darkening and discoloration on the finish. Spots of metal oxidation and patina throughout. Varying spots of pitting throughout most of the receiver and a little on some of the smaller parts. Heavy scratches, scuffs, dings, and general wear on the wood. The front barrel band is loose and only held in between the stock and receiver. Darkening of the wood. Most of the finish is lost on the butt plate with spots of metal oxidation. Mismatched/replaced parts. Decent bore has good visible rifling, some frosting of metal oxidation. Muzzle: 2, Throat: 3.
