Description Springfield Armory M1 Garand chambered in .30-06 Springfield with a eight round En-bloc clip fed capacity and a 24″ barrel. The receiver is dated to 1943 with serial number 1828490. Parkerized finish with wood stock and top handguards. Front and rear sling swivel with mounted green fabric sling. Metal trap door butt plate. The front and rear sight are missing and have been replaced with after market bases. The right side of the receiver under the stock is marked “D 28291 29”. SA bolt marked “D28287-12SA 011A(Diamond)”. SA trigger group marked “D28290-5-SA”. The operating rod is marked “D25382 9 SA”. Comes with partial of the rear sight. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Good with scratches, contact marks, and general cosmetic handling wear. Some spots of finish patina and metal oxidation. The stock appears to have been sanded and refinished with very light wear. The top handguards have scratches, scuffs, and dings. A deep scratch and a small thin crack on the top of the handguards. The sights have been removed. Bright and clean bore with strong rifling.
