Description World War II German Mauser BYF code P38 chambered in 9mm with one, eight round removable magazine and a 4.9″ barrel. Manufactured in 1944 with serial number 6000V. Blued steel frame with ribbed Bakelite grips and lanyard loop. Serrated heel magazine release, slide stop, and take down lever. Double/single action trigger and exposed hammer. Blued barrel and serrated slide with mounted safety/de-cocker. Fixed iron sights. Matching serial number frame, slide, and barrel. WaaA135 Waffenamt is stamped on the left side of the frame, left side of the barrel, and twice on the right side of the slide with Third Reich Eagle stamp. The left side of the frame is stamped “P.38” AND “byf44”. The magazine is stamped “P38 V”. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Good/Very Good with normal scratches, scuffs, and general handling wear. Finish patina/loss mainly on the frame, edges, moving parts, and contact points. Varying spots of metal oxidation, mostly small spots with the most of it being on the side of the slide. Very bright and clean bore with strong visible rifling.
