Description JM stamped Marlin 336 chambered in .30-30 Winchester with a six round tube magazine and a 20″ round barrel. Manufactured between 1961-1962 with serial number V29043. Blued barrel, magazine tube, barrel bands, frame, loading gate, hammer with extension, and lever. Gold plated trigger. The top of the receiver is drilled and tapped and mounted with a Marlin Micro-Power 4 power scope. Adjustable rear sight and fixed beaded front blade. Smooth wood forend and straight stock with carving of a Bull and Texas. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: FAIR/GOOD with general scratches and a wear from handling/operation. Heavy spots of metal oxidation on the barrel, lever, and tang. General small spots of metal oxidation on the receiver, magazine tube, and other small parts. Appears to be aftermarket wood with off fitment including the butt plate. General scratches and dings, along with multiple wood repairs/fills on the handguard and stock. A few thin surface cracks on the left side of the forend. Bright bore with strong rifling but has some heavy spots of metal oxidation.
