The receiver is dated to 1955 with serial number 5484724. Parkerized barrel, gas tube with bayonet lug, receiver, bolt, operating rod, trigger, safety, and trigger guard. Springfield Armory bolt marked “6528287-SA A15”. Smooth wood top forend and National Match stock with metal trap door butt plate. Front, middle. and rear sling swivels with mounted green sling. Worn National Match stamp on the left side of the stock, “P” proof mark on the bottom of the stock, “53” is marked on the side of the butt. Adjustable rear peep sight and protected front blade sight. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Good/Very Good with scratches, scuffs, and wear from normal handling. Finish wear/loss on the sharp edges, contact points, and moving parts. Some metal oxidation on the butt plate. Scratches, scuffs, and dings on the stock. Some of the proofs/marks on the stock are worn but visible. Clean bore with strong rifling.
