Description Springfield Armory model 1903 chambered in .30-06 with a five round internal magazine capacity and a 24″ barrel. Serial number 1256895 dated to 1923 with “H” marked front band and “U” marked mid band. “RIA” marked on the left side of the wood stock, and “SA 5-23” marked barrel. “P” Cartouche on the grip of the stock. Parkerized receiver, trigger/guard and barrel. Leather and brass shoulder strap. Adjustable rear ladder sight and front fixed hooded blade. Must ship to FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Good/Very Good as having been refinished, the lettering on the metal parts are still crisp but there is spots of pitting and metal oxidation under the parkerized finish. Scratches, scuffs, and wear from handling and operation. The stock has been sanded and refinished, the cartouches are still visible but are flat and faded. Good bore with strong rifling, appears to have some light frosting of metal oxidation.
