Description This lot is for two F.LLA Pietta black powder revolvers in .44 caliber. The first is a 1858 New Army repro with an 8″ barrel and 6-shot capacity. Brass frame. Smooth wood grip plates. Case colored serrated hammer and smooth trigger. Blued cylinder, barrel and plunger. Comes with a leather holster. The second is an 1851 Confederate Navy Sheriff repro with a 5″ barrel and 6-shot capacity. Brass frame. Smooth wood grip plates. Case colored serrated hammer, smooth trigger and plunger. Blued barrel and cylinder. Black powder, ships to most buyers’ home. Condition: Poor with the action slipping on the 1858 and the 1851’s cylinder is stuck from heavy rust. Wooden grips have minor dings. Minor spots of oxidation running along the barrel of the 1858 with a fairly clean rifled bore. The 1851’s brass is oxidizing with major patches of rust along the barrel, inside the cylinder, and down the bore.
