Description DWM P08 Double Date Luger chambered in 9mm with one non-matching wood base plate magazine and a 4″ barrel. Manufactured in 1920 with serial number 6810, The top of the chamber is marked with “1920” manufacture date and “1920” property mark during the Treaty of Versailles. Rust blued frame with stock lug, narrow trigger guard, and push button magazine release. Straw finished takedown lever, wide trigger, extractor, and serrated thumb safety marked “GESICHERT”. Checkered walnut grips. Rust blued barrel, chamber, police sear safety, and toggle with flat checkered toggle knobs. Front fixed “dorsal fin” blade and rear V notch iron sights. The toggle is marked with “DWM”. The barrel, chamber, and toggle are marked with German Nitro proofs. The front strap is marked “K.L.J. 129.”. Acceptance proof on the right side of the receiver that is barley visible from re-bluing. All serialized parts appear to be matching aside from the magazine and the grips. Must ship to FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Good, The finish has some scratches/contact marks and normal handling wear, as well as some spots of finish loss/patina. Light spots of metal oxidation on most parts. The finish on the barrel, receiver, and toggle shows evidence of being reblued, the frame and straw finished parts appear to have original finish. The grips retain most of their checkering with some worn parts. The left grip plate has two glued wood repairs on the top left and right of the grip. The bore as some light metal oxidation/pitting towards the muzzle, but has good visible rifling.
