Description German WWII DWM 1914 pattern Military Luger with one, non-matching magazine with wood base plate, and a 4″ barrel. Manufactured in 1918 (marked on top of the chamber) with serial number 2906. Rust blued frame with stock lug, narrow trigger guard, and push button magazine release. Straw finished takedown lever, wide trigger, and serrated thumb safety marked “GESICHERT”. Checkered walnut grips. Rust blued barrel, chamber, and toggle with flat checkered toggle knobs. Front fixed “dorsal fin” blade and rear V notch iron sights. The toggle is marked with “DWM”. The barrel, breech block, and receiver are marked with the German military test fire proof marks. “USS” acceptance mark is on the right side of the receiver. The bottom of the barrel is marked with the serial number and “i” “8,82”. All parts appear to be matching aside from the magazine and the grips. The grips have a different serial number and one has a Waffenamt. Must ship to FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Good/Very good, The finish has some scratches and normal handling wear, as well as some spots of finish loss/patina. Some tiny touches of metal oxidation under the frame and on some other small parts. The grips show no major damage with some of the checkering being worn, but most of the checkering is still relatively strong considering the age. The markings and proofs are still visible.
