This mismatched example is made up of a Colt 1911A1 frame with S/N 797333 dating to 1942 and a Colt slide with S/N 741041 dating to 1941. This example features a 5″ Springfield replacement barrel with heat treat number “PX-1” and marked “S” and “P” on the lug, fixed front blade and flat top rear sight, “P” and marked slide with two-line and two block address with patent marking on the left side of the slide separated by Rampant Colt logo, “WB” and “P” inspection mark on the left side of frame along with US Property markings on right side of frame, checkered hammer, trigger, slide stop, thumb safety and magazine stop, standard grip safety, serrated mainspring housing, and diamond checkered reinforced Keyes-Fiber grip panels. Included is an additional unmarked barrel, 7 magazines, and a US marked Enger-Kress shoulder holster dated 1944. that has been electro penciled serial matching the pistol. Ships to FFLC&R Only.
