Description Colt PTFA Model of 1911 US Army semi auto pistol chambered in .45 caliber with one seven round removable magazine and a 5″ barrel. Unknown date of manufacture, later Augusta Arsenal Refurbished. This X prefix serial number marked pistol features a post war barrel, fixed front blade, flat top notched rear sight, two-line and two block address with patent marking on the left side of the slide separated by Rampant Colt logo, “UNITED STATES PROPERTY” marking on right side of frame, “AA” Augusta Arsenal mark on left side of frame above trigger, long and smooth solid trigger, checkered hammer, slide catch, safety, and magazine catch, double diamond checkered grips, short grip safety, smooth, flat mainspring housing with lanyard loop, and heart shape grip frame. Included is an unmarked magazine with a two pin base. Ships to FFL/C&R only. Condition: Overall Good as refinished with finish loss, scattered nicks, and scratches.
