Description Employee-Owned Prototype Colt Cobra chambered in .38 special +P with a six-shot cylinder and a 2″ barrel. Manufactured in 2017 with prototype serial number RA0000004. Stainless steel barrel, frame, and fluted cylinder. Textured rubber Hogue grips with Colt logo. Fiber optic front sight. Revolver features a barstock hammer, trigger, and hand. Rapid prototype transfer bar, the production version would have MIM parts. Also features a prototype mainspring that allowed the quick manufacture of prototypes for testing and validation. This example was a part of the display at Shot Show 2017 to introduce the new model. The revolver was sold to the Chief Engineer for Colt at the time.
