Description Wildey-owned, ex Joe Marconi, Ruger RST 4 chambered in .22 long rifle with one, ten round removable Ruger magazine and a 4.75″ barrel. Blued steel frame with checkered wood Ruger grips with thumb rest. Frame mounted safety and heel magazine release. Blued barrel, slide, and serrated cocking handles. Fixed iron sights. The top of the slide is engraved “To JOESEPH MARCONI From his Friend and admirer WILLIAM B. RUGER JAN.1981”. Must ship to FFL holder. Condition: Good/Very good with some light scratches and handling wear. A very light touch of metal oxidation on the top of the slide and the front sight. A few small touches of metal oxidation on the bolt. Two small contact marks on the front sight. Clean bore with strong rifling. Joe Marconi was the founder of Endicott Machine and Tool, where many Ruger magazines and the Wildey Survivor Magazines were designed and produced. Wildey worked in the firearms business since the 1950’s as a gunsmith, Ed Argamonte’s, as a Salesman for Winchester, Stoeger, J.J. Tobler and Forenade Fabrikverken. Eventually setting out on his own to design and create the Wildey Survivor. The Survivor was most famously featured in the classic 1985 Movie Death Wish 3 with Charles Bronson.
