Description Wildey-owned Ruger New Model Super Blackhawk chambered in .44 Magnum with six-shot cylinder and a 7.5″ barrel. Manufactured in 1985 with serial number 85-47460. Blued barrel, frame, non fluted cylinder, textured trigger, and hammer. Smooth wood Ruger grips. Adjustable rear U-notch and fixed front blade iron sights. Must ship to FFL holder. Condition: Good/Very good with light scratches and handling wear. Light cylinder drag line. The bluing on the loading gate, trigger guard, and grip frame has a different “plum” color bluing than the rest of the parts. Clean bore with strong rifling. Wildey worked in the firearms business since the 1950’s as a gunsmith, Ed Argamonte’s, as a Salesman for Winchester, Stoeger, J.J. Tobler and Forenade Fabrikverken. Eventually setting out on his own to design and create the Wildey Survivor. The Survivor was most famously featured in the classic 1985 Movie Death Wish 3 with Charles Bronson.
