Description Handsomely engraved Winchester model 64 standard lever action rifle chambered in .32 WS (Winchester Special). This example with serial number 1622798 and dating to 1949 features a 24″ blued barrel with hooded front ramp and v-notch adjustable rear sight, half length blued magazine tube, 1near 100% scroll engraved receiver with bear and deer scenes highlighted by gold inlays, matching engraving on top of bolt, action, and lever portion surrounding the trigger outlined with gold inlay, and matching engraving on the front band. The hardwood standard style stocks have been carved with a matching scroll pattern with deep relief. There is no indication of the engraver. The letters “CV” are stamped in front of the trigger but most likely indicate assembler or inspector. Ships to FFL/C&R only. Condition: Excellent condition showing no signs of use if any. The blued finish is near perfect with the exception of a couple small nicks on the outside of the muzzle. The stock has a couple of very fine scratches just rear of the wrist on the left hand side.
