Description Winchester 1897 Trench Shotgun in 12 gauge 2 3/4″ with a six round capacity and a 20″ barrel with CYL fixed choke. Checkered composite butt plate. Smooth wood stock and front serrated foregrip. Blued trigger, receiver, checkered hammer, magazine tube and barrel. Front bayonet lug and sling loop. Front metal bead fixed sight. Remnants of U.S. with bomb proof on right side of receiver. Top of barrel proof marked: P and WP, Winchester Proof. The barrel has been replaced at some point and the gun refinished. Must ship to a C&R or FFL holder. Condition: Very Good as refinished with light scratches and finish wear/loss. Screw tappings on side of receiver. Shotgun has been refinished and barrel replaced.
