Description Springfield 1899 Krag Carbine chambered in .30-40 Krag with a five round capacity and a 22″ barrel. Metal butt plate with cleaning kit door, empty. Smooth wood stock and front forend. Missing the top forend. Blued trigger guard, untextured trigger, magazine box, receiver and barrel. Rear left side of receiver located safety switch. Right side of receiver loading gate. Rear flip up adjustable and front fixed blade sight. Under the stock below the trigger guard is marked with “50” and “Circled P” cartouche. “JSA 1901″ cartouche on the side of the stock. Must ship to FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Good with scratches, finish wear/loss, patina, and touches of metal oxidation. Stock is missing the top forend and has two holes drilled into the bottom at the front and rear of the stock. Original barrel length is unknown. The rifled bore has a light rust with strong rifling.
