Records indicate CT Shotgun Mfg used this serial on a different gun, this gun appears to not be a CT Shotgun manufactured model 21 and winchester made. Engraved Winchester pattern 4. This 28ga 26″ barreled shotgun has a white front bead sight on top of a vent rib barrel, marked “CUSTOM BUILT BY WINCHESTER”. Underside of barrel is marked “WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL” with chokes, “WS-1” and “WS-2”. Water table, barrel flats, forend loop are all engine turned. Breech and release lever have moderate scroll work, Receiver is well covered and adorn with scroll and game scenes consistent with pattern 4 (Ducks on left, Dogs on bottom, grouse on right). Single gold selective trigger and automatic tang safety. Selective ejectors. Barrels and water tables appropriately marked with “WP” Winchester proofs, chambering and gauge. Fancy walnut english straight stock and beavertail foregrip are beautifully hand checkered. Butt is also checkered. Condition: Excellent original condition. Bluing is excellent with only some storage wear, Wood is very good to excellent with some minor chips on heel, light scratchs around. Lock up and function is very tight.
