Three World War Two Firearms brought back by Veteran Harry Rhymer, Chief Motor Machinist First Class, US Coast Guard 1/2/42-6/16/47. We have the honor of selling his personal guns and he has written a letter describing his service dates and how he came to be in possession of a British Enfield instead of a regulation M1 Garand. These guns have traveled with Mr. Rhymer to Panama, Pearl Harbor, Eniwetok, Wlithi, Guam, Saipan, Okinawa, Luzon, Leyte, Palau, and Japan. This Groups includes: A Japanese Nambu Type 94 8mm pistol with a 3.75″ bbl, 85% Original finish and a clean bore. Serial Number: 70418. Includes one magazine. A British Enfield Bolt Action Rifle with 25.5″ barrel, in .303 British. Marked: MA LITHGOW S.M.LE III 1941. Serial Number: B93570, Wrist Stamped D,Z, Bolt Stamped MA’41, Breech with crown proof marks and MA VII, Backsight protector Marked MA ’41, underside of barrel marked BA, Underside of forestock with matching serial number, and MA ’41 and other worn numbers. Underside of stock wrist stamped AUSTRALIA. Right side of butt stock stamped MA LITHGOW, LSMLE, III HV 1942. Original Parkerized finish better than 70% throughout with very nice patina. Stock bears a layer of varied patina and wear and use marks as expected. Function is good, internal look clean, Bore is clean, but shows some wear from use. A Remington 03-A3 Bolt Action Rifle in 30-06. With 24″ barrel, Hooded blade front sight, adjustable rear sight. Top of Barrel Marked RA with Flaming Bomb and 2-44 along with a 3. Bottom of barrel stamped P. Serial Number 3880465. Barrel Band Marked U. Stock has been sanded and cleaned, no marks. Most of the original green finish on the barrel remains, as well as the unmarked floor plate. original butt plate with lots of original finish. Good Function, Clean shiny Bore.
