Mule ear O/U percussion double with octagon to round barrels in .40/.40 caliber configuration. Blade fore-sight and adjustable elk horn rear sight. The lock plate is engraved “W E ROBBINS”. Engraved brass furniture includes trigger guard, toe plate, butt plate and cartridge trap covers. The right side cartridge trap cover is engraved “A. P. Brewer”. The rear trigger acts as a set trigger with the front trigger releasing the hammer. The barrels are a dark brown patina. There is some pitting at the nipples and breech end of the barrels. There is some metal loss on the rear thimble just under the top hammer. The action and set trigger works as expected. The stock is in very nice condition with no cracks evident.
