Over/under percussion double with octagon to round barrels in .50/.52 caliber configuration. The top barrel is six-grooved and the bottom barrel is smooth bore. Blade dovetail front sight and elk horn rear sight. The lock plates are engraved “HENRY PARKER WARRANTED”. The top of the barrel is marked “JOHN TROUT” and underneath looks to read “WMS PORT.PA”. Brass furniture includes trigger guard and butt plate. The steel ramrod thimbles are integral to the barrels. The barrels are a heavy dark brown patina. There is pitting at the nipples and breech end of the barrels. There is some metal loss on the rear thimbles adjacent to combustion area. Although spring tension feels good, triggers will not set.
